Candle Care + Instructions
For the best burn, trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch before each use. During the first burn, allow the wax to melt across the surface to help prevent tunneling. Burn for no more than four hours at a time. Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts and flammable materials.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children and pets. Keep the wax free of wick trimmings and debris. Discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains, or sooner if the container becomes damaged. Allow the candle to cool completely before handling or relighting.
Lid Care and Safety
Your candle lid may include a foam insert designed to help ensure a secure fit. I recommend leaving the foam insert in place and not removing it. Always remove the lid completely before lighting your candle. The lid with or without a foam insert should never be used to extinguish the flame. Use a suitable candle snuffer or another appropriate candle-extinguishing method instead. Allow the candle to cool completely before replacing the lid.
